Jamie Lee Curtis’ emotional reaction to receiving 1st Oscar nomination

The actress couldn’t be happier with the recognition for her work in ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’.

Jamie Lee Curtis decided to show the followers of her Instagram page the moment she learned that she was nominated for the Oscars for the first time.

The performer is in the running for the Best Supporting Actress award for her work in ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’.

“One of my oldest and best friends texted me at 5:15 in the morning saying she was in front of my house and if I wanted company to watch the announcement of the nominees,” she began, referring to Debbie Oppenheimer.

“She won an Oscar for the beautiful documentary she made about her mother’s story, […] She came in and sat with me just as I had sat with her the year she won. We held hands. I didn’t even notice when she took the pictures. […] No filters. No fakeness. Just the truth of the moment of joy captured by a friend,” she pointed out.
