FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots have signed first-year offensive linemen Darrian Dalcourt and Joe Michalski. Michalski's name is pronounced muh-HALL-skee.
The Patriots also released long snapper Niko Lalos and placed guard Andrew Rupcich on injured reserve. The Patriots signed Lalos on March 16, 2026, released him on May 20 and re-signed him on Aug. 10.
Dalcourt, 25, entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024 after playing at Alabama. The 6-foot-3, 309-pounder spent the 2024 season on Baltimore's practice squad. Baltimore released him at the end of training camp in 2025, and Dalcourt spent time on the practice squads of the Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns.
Michalski, 25, entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Denver Broncos out of Oklahoma State in 2025. The 6-foot-4, 303-pounder spent the 2025 season on Denver's practice squad. In college, he played 59 games with 35 starts at both center and guard.
Lalos, 28, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent defensive end with the New York Giants out of Dartmouth in 2020. The 6-foot-5, 269-pounder began his rookie season on the practice squad, was elevated to the active roster for three games and was signed to the active roster in December. He played in six games that season and finished with 5 total tackles and 1 fumble recovery. Lalos spent the 2021 season on the Giants practice squad and spent time on the New Orleans practice squad in 2022, 2023 and 2024. He also spent time with the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL.
