The second week of NFL preseason continues today with 20 teams in action.

The first six games of the day are complete, with the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants coming out on top. The Cincinnati Bengals have raced out to a 24-9 lead over the Chicago Bears, the Kansas City Chiefs are blanking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9-0, and the Philadelphia Eagles lead the New England Patriots 14-10 in a back-and-forth game.

Ben Johnson has put a major emphasis this summer on improving the operation at the end of the half, as the Bears struggled to score late in the second quarter last season. With that in mind, he is probably pleased with how the first half ended. Following a rough middle of the second quarter, the Bears had 23 seconds left with the football.
