Five Arsenal Players Named to PFA Team of the Year

David Raya, Declan Rice, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber have all been selected for the PFA Team of the Year for 2025/26.

The five Arsenal players were all included in the annual line-up, chosen by the votes of their fellow professionals based on their excellent performances over the past 12 months, as the club won the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

Declan Rice, who played all but two of Arsenal's Premier League matches, is in the team for the third consecutive season. The England international midfielder was also named the club's Player of the Season for a second year running.

William Saliba's contributions to the title success mean he has now appeared in the PFA Team of the Year for four successive seasons. The Frenchman helped the club keep 19 clean sheets in the league, four more than the second-highest side. This is the first time an Arsenal player has been in four straight line-ups since Thierry Henry, who featured in six consecutive teams between 2000/01 and 2005/06.

Gabriel Magalhaes joins Declan Rice in having three inclusions in a row. The Brazilian defender was part of a back line that conceded just 27 goals, the fewest in three seasons.

Goalkeeper David Raya makes his return to the PFA Team of the Year after previously featuring in his debut campaign of 2023/24. David, who finished second in the club's Player of the Season vote, is rewarded for a sparkling season. He won his third Golden Glove in a row as well as winning the Premier League Save of the Month for denying Brighton's Yankuba Minteh what looked like a certain equaliser.

Jurrien Timber completes the five Arsenal stars to feature in the XI, making an appearance for the first time. The Dutch right-back played 30 Premier League matches in the 2025/26 season, scoring twice against Leeds United and a winning goal against Chelsea in March 2026.

Elsewhere, PFA Young Player of the Year Nico O'Reilly completes the backline alongside the Arsenal players. Declan Rice is joined in midfield by Manchester City duo Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo, plus Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes. Brentford's Igor Thiago and Manchester City's Erling Haaland complete the line-up.
