The NFL roster deadline is approaching fast, and the Eagles have plenty of decisions to make.
With the final preseason game now behind them, the Philadelphia Eagles face some tough calls as they work toward their 53-man roster ahead of the league deadline on Sunday, August 30, at 6:00 PM Eastern.
The starters on both offense and defense are mostly set, but a few spots saw players competing for bigger roles, especially at wide receiver and safety. The depth players showed versatility and potential throughout the preseason, and the team also needs to make calculated moves to fill its practice squad without losing anyone on waivers.
The Eagles host the Commanders in their Week 1 season opener on Sunday, September 13, so they have two weeks to finalize their depth charts and round out the practice squad.
This page will be updated as the team announces roster cuts, additions, or other trades over the coming days.
