The University of Mount Saint Vincent men's soccer team earned a hard-fought 3-0 victory over Yeshiva University on Wednesday evening, September 9, 2026. The win, which was the Dolphins' first in conference play, kept them unbeaten with a 2-0-1 record.
After a scoreless first half, John Brienza broke through in the 49th minute to give the Dolphins the lead. Marti Senyer doubled the advantage in the 82nd minute, converting an impressive corner attempt, and Manuel Vidal added an insurance goal just 1:42 later, with Senyer providing the assist.
Senyer led the Dolphins with three points, while Brandon Brad Leon recorded a team-high five shots, including two on goal. UMSV controlled the offensive pressure throughout, finishing with a 21-6 advantage in shots and a 12-5 edge in shots on goal. Joey Wiant made five saves to earn the shutout and has now allowed just one goal across 270 minutes played this season.
