Coleraine FC has announced the launch of two new football programmes for young players, taking place early next month. The sessions are designed to help children develop skills, build confidence and enjoy the game, with a focus on technical development, teamwork and fun.
The first programme, Coleraine FC Mini Bannsiders, takes place at SCORE in Coleraine over six weeks, starting on Sunday, September 13. Sessions run on September 20 and 27, and October 4, 11 and 18, from 11am to 11.30am. Boys and girls aged 3 to 6 can attend, with places limited to a maximum of 20 children. Each session costs £4, or £24 for the full six-week block. Parents and guardians must register in advance through the Mini Bannsiders online sign-up form HERE. Registration should include the child's details, relevant medical information and photo or media consent.
The second programme runs at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre in Ballymoney, starting on Monday, September 14. Sessions follow on September 21 and 28, and October 5, 12 and 19, from 5pm to 6pm. It is open to boys and girls aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12, with both age groups running at the same time but as separate groups. Places are limited to a maximum of 20 children per age group, and the full six-week block costs £40. There is one registration link for both age groups, and parents or guardians must select the correct age group when registering: 5–8 years or 9–12 years HERE. Registration should include the child's details, relevant medical information and photo or media consent.
