Derby County have confirmed the signing of Danish striker Henrik Meister.
The 22-year-old has joined the club on a season-long loan, with an option to buy from Italian Serie B club Pisa.
Meister came through the ranks of Danish football with BK Skjold, B 1903 and Fremad Amager, before moving to Norwegian Eliteserien side Sarpsborg 08 in July 2023.
His first full campaign there ended with a run of eight goals in his final seven matches, including a four-goal haul against Rosenborg BK, which drew the attention of French top-flight club Stade Rennais that summer.
A loan move to Italy followed in January 2025. Under Head Coach Filippo Inzaghi, Meister helped Pisa win promotion to Serie A and subsequently made his move permanent.
He played in the Italian top tier last season under another former elite striker, Alberto Gilardino, making 28 appearances in Serie A.
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, Meister adds power to the Rams' attacking ranks as the seventh signing through the door at Pride Park Stadium this summer.
