The La Salle men's soccer team lost a non-conference match to Drexel 3-1 on Tuesday night in Philadelphia. Drexel opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Senior Lucas Kelley equalized for La Salle in the 23rd minute, with senior Alexandru Zama providing the assist. Drexel added a goal in the 63rd minute and a penalty kick goal in the 83rd minute to complete the scoring. Junior Gabe Faust and freshman Sebastian Gubi each took two shots, with Faust and sophomore Julius de Vries recording a shot on goal. Graduate student Maximilian Retzer made four saves. The Explorers open Atlantic 10 play on Saturday, traveling to George Washington for a 1 p.m. matchup that will be streamed on ESPN+.
