Roberto De Zerbi has explained why Savio is missing from Tottenham's matchday squad for their game against Newcastle this afternoon.

Savio joined Spurs from Manchester City earlier this week and made an instant impact off the bench in the Carabao Cup, scoring a sumptuous goal on his debut in the 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic in midweek.
The winger's strike made him a quick favourite with the Spurs fans, so there was surprise when he was left out of the squad for the Newcastle match, especially after De Zerbi had suggested before the game that Savio could make his full debut.
De Zerbi explained the decision to Sky Sports: "There was bad news yesterday, before training in the afternoon. He suffered muscle fatigue and the medical staff didn’t want to take a risk. I agree with them."
The Italian hopes to have the forward back for Spurs' next Premier League match, a trip to Nottingham Forest next weekend.
As a result, the 22-year-old misses out, but his former Manchester City team-mate Omar Marmoush, who joined Spurs on an initial loan with a £60million obligation to buy earlier this week, starts this afternoon and makes his full debut.
Richarlison was another surprise name missing from the Tottenham bench, and the Brazilian's future at the club has been in question throughout the transfer window.
There was positive injury news, with Mohammed Kudus passing fit enough for a place on the bench after a persistent thigh problem that has kept him out since January.
